Rockin’ Kats is our Rockabilly label featuring bands from the UK, Europe and the US. The music played by these bands takes us back to the days of Elvis and the Sun Label and represents the whole ethos of Ngaro. The sound is raw with bands playing that authentic 50’s sound through to bands playing rockabilly with the psychobilly sound. You will find no maufactured ‘boy bands’ here cashing in on the latest trend. This is music played by bands who feel the music and live the lifestyle. Rockabilly had a major revival in the 80’s through bands like the Stray Cats, Matchbox and The Polecats who all had Chart succes and with the quality of current bands get ready for Rockabilly to be back in the spotlight again. When you have downloaded some of the rockin’ sounds of our bands why not go out and see them live because if you want to experience real music - live rockabilly is as close as you will get. No safe pop, this is loud, raw, sexy music. |
